Ismael Bautista Carrasco Bañados (1944) -better known as "El Negro Pelé"- defines himself as a folklorist, singer, melodic, tropical and international singer-songwriter, who has been in the trade for more than six decades playing guitar and singing in the region, among other towns and cities, Pichilemu, Peralillo -where he has lived for more than 50 years- Santa Cruz, San Fernando, Termas del Flaco; he being the exclusive singer of the Tren del Vino project, between 2004 and 2010, when it stopped working.
But, he also -at the same time- spent eleven years as a "crooner" of the renowned Santa Cruz "Festivalera" Orchestra. And as vocalist of the Sonora “Juventud de Peumo”. With both, he toured the stages of the entire region.
Likewise, for special presentations he was -for years- a permanent member of the Pichilemu Folklore Group "Pampa y Duna", which was made up of José Miranda, Carlos Pérez, Carlos Urzúa and Pedro Oróstica.
In fact, its beginnings date back to 1966, singing at Los Aviadores Restaurant, Residencial Oróstica, Hotel Central, Hotel Rex, Quinta de Recreo Las Brisas, in the Pichilemina Week show, Peña Folklorica “Salida de Curados”, “Peña ' scazo”, “Huaso Benja”, in Tanguería “Corrientes” and “Siglo XX”.
In 1982 he was a finalist on TVN in the program "I am Alberto Cortés". Likewise, he was in various places in the '80s and '90s such as “Chingana del Tata” (San Fernando), El Escorial (Nancagua), “La Casona” (Rengo), Parrilladas “On Quico” (Peumo) and at events. institutional sports clubs, Lions Clubs, Rotarians, various companies, municipalities, among others.
